Somehow this symbol speaks to me of what is going on in Washington D.C. Many truths of certain politicians have been coming to light. Some are falling off the very high pedestals they built for themselves. In the New Moon chart set for Washington D.C., Neptune the planet of subterfuge and deception falls in it’s ruling house the 12^th of hidden enemies and secrets. Mercury ruler of communication also falls in this house. What is still not being said? Ah but Uranus also finds itself there which could mean a sudden revelation of secrets. Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius are in mutual reception (the planets are in each others ruling sign), which gives added strength to the likelihood of something like this to occur. Jupiter square Neptune and Jupiter opposition Mars are other additional indicators that suggests one can only hide their stuff in the closet until one day someone curious comes along, opens it and everything falls out.

It’s also interesting to note that Aquarius that has freedom at the top of the list of priorities is facing its’ demise with the domestic spying issues. Aquarius is not a happy camper when it’s freedom is being threatened. You then get rebellion and revolution. The United States has the Moon in Aquarius and depending on what chart you use, the New Moon falls on this country’s Moon – our security, independence and freedom. Will the American people do anything about it?

To top it off, the explosive and transformative Pluto is on the MC representing the government, it’s leaders and representatives. Here we go again with the secrets. Pluto has a way of bringing things to the surface no matter how deep you think they’re buried. Saturn in Leo opposes the New Moon. With all these secrets being exposed, will any of our leaders actually take responsibility for their actions? Aquarius is the sign of humanitarianism. Will anybody make the right decisions for the good of humanity? One can only hope, can’t one? Chiron the wounded healer is in Aquarius. Perhaps this influence will open the hearts and minds of men to create a healing for our great nation.

I think this will be very interesting to see what transpires. On a personal level, ask yourself what you can do to make a difference.
